The smell of a warm VHS tape after watching a movie and the loud whirring sound of it rewinding are two things that can quickly transport 80s and 90s kids back to their youth.
I watch you take your really cute dog outside every morning while I’m waiting for my bus to work but I never have the time to actually say anything
We keep getting each other’s packages by accident and I may have started ordering random things I don’t need on amazon to have an excuse to see you again
I got delivered your package by accident and opened it thinking it was my own and wow why do you need this many sex toys
A classic: My apartment neighbor has a very active sex life at all hours of the day and wow I don’t know if I want to kill them or find out what the fuss is about
The neighborhood stray cat has been hanging out with both of us and it’s kind of turned into a competition to see who it’ll stay with forever
My cat has been missing for like a week because you thought it was a friendly stray and let it stay in your apartment while I’ve been two houses down panicking
Another classic: I’m in love with my cute neighbor but oh no they’re in a relationship wait what do you mean that’s just your roommate who you’re very affectionate with
Hey I know we’ve never met but I’m your upstairs neighbor and I heard you listen to Hozier’s first album 8 times in the last 5 days are you ok
Hey I know we’ve never met but I’m your upstairs neighbor and I heard you listen to Hozier’s first album 8 times in the last 5 days could you shut the fuck up please
i don’t think people understand that taking naps throughout the day is just a way to get away from the thoughts inside your head. it’s not being lazy. it’s just being mentally exhausted. you can get so anxious that it literally makes you physically exhausted. i understand that some people don’t get it but really, you have no room to talk, we’re the ones dealing with this on the daily, fighting our own brains. don’t tell us to just “get over it” or “stop being anxious” or “what are you stressed about” no, absolutely not. just try to help us and support us in anyway that you can without ridiculing or criticizing us. thank you for coming to my ted talk :)
